End User Licence Agreement

RPH Log Analyzer is provided free of charge for personal troubleshooting and diagnostic use.

You may not sell, rent, sublicense, redistribute, re-host, modify, copy, reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of this software, except where permitted by law. You must not bypass its update, security, rate-limit, or access controls.

The software, its design, branding, and related materials remain the property of Burnsie and rphlogs.com.

This software is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied.

RPH Log Analyzer provides automated guidance based on your log files, a community plugin database, and, where enabled, basic checks of your PC and GTA V folder. Its analysis may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or unsuitable for your specific setup. You should always use your own judgement before making changes to your game, plugins, mods, or related files.

You are responsible for any changes you make to your game files, plugins, mods, settings, or system based on the output of this tool, for whether you leave the Online plugin checkup or log donation enabled for a given log, and for what you choose to share or donate.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the author is not liable for any damage, data loss, corrupted files, game issues, loss of access, or other loss arising from the use of, or inability to use, this software, or from any content you choose to analyze online, share, donate, or submit to AI chat.

Nothing in this Agreement excludes any rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law, including under the Australian Consumer Law.

By default, each log you analyse is checked using the Online plugin checkup, which sends the log — with your Windows username and email addresses removed first — over an encrypted connection to the LSPDFR Helper plugin database (operated by SuperPyroManiac and the LSPDFR community) to check your plugins for updates and known problems. The log is used only to produce your result and is not stored by us. You can turn the checkup off in Settings at any time to stop checkup uploads. If log donation is also off, no copy of your log is uploaded.

If your display language is not English (detected from Windows, or chosen under Settings → Appearance → Language), the English text of your analysis results is sent over an encrypted connection through our server to a translation service so results can be shown in your language; it is used only to produce the translation, and choosing English sends nothing. Requests carry your random, anonymous device identifier so translation usage can be metered per device (the translation service itself never receives it). Translation has server-side usage limits (overall and per device) — when unavailable or over a limit, results simply show in English.

The application also sends an anonymous usage summary after each analysis (on by default; turn it off under Settings → Usage statistics). This is a small, non-identifying summary — the application and detected game / plugin-host versions, the Windows build number, the game edition, rounded plugin and error counts, whether a crash was detected and whether a cause was identified, whether the checkup and System check were used, which built-in checks flagged a problem (by the check's internal rule name only — never the files, versions or values the check saw), and coarse usage of the optional snapshots feature (on/off and rounded counts only — never file names, paths or fingerprints). Our server also records the countrythe request came from (a two-letter code derived from the connection by our hosting provider's network — the IP address itself is not stored with the summary, and nothing finer than country is kept). It never includes your log, file paths, Windows username, plugin names, or any identifier for you or your device.

Crash-log donation (the Help improve crash detection setting, under Settings → Analysis) is optional and off by default. If you explicitly enable it, the application uploads a sanitized log only when a crash was detected, whether or not the final combined analysis found a specific diagnosis. Clean sessions are never donated. Unlike encrypted shares, donated logs are readable by authorised RPH Log Analyzer maintainers and are stored securely in a private Supabase corpus to validate existing diagnoses, investigate recurring unknown crashes, and improve detection. Diagnosed samples are kept outside the unknown-crash triage queue. Automated scrubbing removes common identifiers, paths, and secrets but is not a guarantee. Donations carry only limited technical verdict metadata and a random device identifier used for abuse limits and deletion — never loaded plugin names or paths as metadata. Logs are retained for no more than 180 days. Turning donation off stops future uploads but does not delete earlier donations; you can ask us at any time (via rphlogs.com/support) to delete the donation records associated with your device. Standard hosting connection data such as IP address and timestamp is processed for the request.

When it starts, the application makes small automatic requests for version, maintenance, capsule-trust, and detection/rule updates. These requests send no log or user content; where needed they send only the application's own version number, and they are skipped if you are offline.

The optional Share feature is off until you turn it on in Settings, and only acts when you click Share. You choose what to include: the analysis report only, or the report together with your full RagePluginHook.log. Whatever you choose is encrypted on your computer before it is uploaded — only the encrypted copy leaves your device, and the decryption key stays inside the share link, so the server can never read a shared report. Links self-destruct after 7 days, and turning the Share feature off deletes the links you have created. Before uploading, the application removes your Windows username, computer name, email addresses, and the folder path to your log.

The optional AI live chat feature (when available — we can switch it on or off remotely) only acts when you click the AI help button on a report. Clicking it sends a short summary of the analysis and an excerpt of your log — sanitized on your device first, and sanitized again by the server — in exchange for a one-time code that expires in about 30 minutes. You can then use the code on our Discord server to chat with an AI assistant about your crash in a private thread, after confirming in Discord that you accept the Terms of Service and the logging notice shown there. Conversations are logged and stored: transcripts, submitted analyses, log excerpts, any log files you attach in the thread, and your helpful / not helpful ratings are kept together with your Discord username and user ID, may be reviewed by authorised maintainers, and are used to improve and further train the AI assistant. Messages and uploaded files are screened by an automated content filter (OpenAI's moderation service); flagged content closes the chat and can block your Discord account from the feature while the case is reviewed. Conversations are processed by a third-party AI provider (currently OpenAI) through our systems; Discord's own terms apply to your use of Discord. The AI's answers are automated guidance only and can be wrong — review its advice and back up files before making changes. Submissions and transcripts are deleted after at most 30 days; abuse-prevention records and operator-approved improvements distilled from conversations are kept longer but contain no conversation text or logs.

If you enable Share or log donation, or use translation or AI live chat, your device is assigned a random, anonymous identifier, stored on this PC and used only to rate-limit those features, prevent abuse, meter translation, and let you manage the links and donations your device created.

Beta builds only: verifying a beta access key sends a one-way fingerprint of your computer (a salted hash derived from your Windows machine identifier — the identifier itself never leaves your device), used solely to lock the key to the first PC it is used on. Official builds never send it.

It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or supported by RAGE Plugin Hook, LSPDFR, Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive, or any related parties. The plugin database used by the Online plugin checkup is operated independently by SuperPyroManiac and the LSPDFR community.
